The Erasmus+ Project WAMDIA (We All Make Digital Information Accessible - www.wamdia.eu) is aimed at the promotion of digital accessibility in Europe, also supporting the implementation of the directive 2016/2002. After an analysis of the situation in the participating countries (Spain, Italy, Hungary, Ireland and Sweden), we need to know how the main target groups (namely non-ICT VET teachers and managers, public employees and managers and SME employees and managers) perceive the topic of the implementation of digital accessibility in their daily activities.

Digital accessibility in Europe is now on the spotlight after the approval in 2016 of the EU directive 2016/2102 . Traditionally, ICT users think that digital accessibility is only a task for ICT professionals when designing and implementing websites and mobile apps. They also think this is something for very specific people, mainly those ones with disability.

WAMDIA wants to change the mindset of traditional ICT users. The fact is that everybody can contribute to accessibility of digital information by ensuring that common files that one can create are accessible: word processor, presentations or pdf files are good examples. Even more, this aspect of accessibility is key for the daily activity: e.g. the best accessible website is useless if only a single uploaded file is not accessible.
WAMDIA will enable that general ICT users make digital information accessible by learning basic techniques which everybody with basic digital skills is able to apply in their daily life. WAMDIA will target many types of general users who are not ICT experts: public employees, teachers and students in non ICT programs in VET centers, SME managers and employees and in general any ICT user.

Picture
"This survey is being conducted by the European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs (EFAA) in collaboration with its member organisations to determine the views of European small and medium-sized entities (SMEs) on audit and alternatives to audit. It seeks to establish the benefits that SMEs perceive from having an audit and, where they are not required to have one, the motivations  and reasons for choosing one or not choosing one."

"We anticipate the results, which will eventually be analysed and summarized into a report, will be used to promote and advocate the views of SMEs with respect to the types of services and support they use and need from external accountants. We estimate it will take around 3 minutes to complete. All responses will be treated anonymously."

It is also important to know your views on how well these predecessor programmes have worked in the past. To the Questionaire....

Erasmus+, the EU Programme for education, training, youth and sport. The mid-term evaluation covers the activities undertaken under the Erasmus+ Programme during the period 2014-2016.
The views expressed in this consultation will be analysed and combined with other evidence in the evaluation report which will be adopted by the European Commission by the end of 2017.
Depending on your level of knowledge and the number of sectors you wish to cover, it will take you between 10 and 60 minutes to answer the questions in this consultation.
